Worn, improperly maintained, or outdated equipment can lower production efficiency and cause a variety of costly quality issues. By partnering with customers to develop proactive preventative maintenance plans, downtime is minimized and equipment life can be significantly lengthened. Typically, a customer contacts us to provide an initial analysis of a piece of equipment or entire manufacturing system. We have been designing and fabricating custom equipment and partnering with multiple OEM equipment manufacturers for over 60 years. This experience gives us the unique ability to troubleshoot issues with existing equipment as well as suggest ways to improve cycle times or part quality.
Preventative maintenance services may be provided as a one-time consultation or at regular intervals as needed. A thorough analysis of the equipment is performed and the customer is provided with a detailed report regarding the current state of the equipment, service suggestions, and upgrade options, if desired by the customer. One of our specialties is retrofitting older equipment with upgraded controls automation technology. By modifying existing equipment, customers are often able to increase efficiency at a lower cost than purchasing a completely new machine.
